Navy Day is celebrated on different dates throughout the world based on their own history and culture. In Australia, Merchant Navy Day is on September 3rd, in the USA it’s on October 27th and in the UK it’s on the same day as in Australia. Down under, we also have a Royal Australian Navy, which is basically known as Navy Week, celebrated in late February or early March.

But whatever the day and date it’s celebrated, this day has one goal – to celebrate the service and sacrifice of those who have sacrificed during the war and have taken part in it. This goes especially during the two biggest wars, World War I and World War II. Having someone close who’s in the Navy and has fought for our country one way or another deserves to be acknowledged for their sacrifices. And what better way to do this than on a Navy Day?! Giving him something special on such a day can mean the world to him, but this doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to do this on any other special occasion. In fact, it’s always a good idea to give something personal or, even better, a personalised gift that will help him remember the love and appreciation you have for him.
