To tell you the truth, nothing feels quite like being behind the wheel. The road, the mountains, the sights, the smells…the feel of a cross country trip dwarves most things in our daily lives. Some prefer to travel via bike, others by car, but in order to experience everything that our portion of the southern hemisphere has to offer, nothing can beat a 4x4. The braking systems of today mainly use what is known as a brake pad. Although there's a different type of brakes that make use of a shoe, the former has prevailed because of how well they perform. Disc brake's main components, the pads, are what presses on the wheel when you engage the brake pedal. The pedal sends brake fluid to the brake calliper which then pushes the pistons which apply the force from the pedal to the pads themselves. These parts are not as commonly replaced as tires are, for example, but they are certainly important regarding safety and convenience.

If you're a HiLux owner who wants to take their vehicle for an adventure off the beaten trail, then you might want to consider installing a lift kit. Even though a stock HiLux is incredibly durable and reliable, installing a lift kit can definitely improve...

There are a lot of accessories for cars currently available for each and every model of car on the market. There are also many different types of accessories with different functions for each of those cars. If you take both of these things into account,...

4x4 vehicles and turbo-diesel engines go together like bread and butter. They've been the engine of choice for most adventure seekers and off-road enthusiasts for a long time now, and all for a couple of good reasons. Their fuel efficiency and reliability are usually excellent and with the new, modern computer-controlled rail injection systems that almost every new turbo-diesel 4x4 has these days, power has significantly increased as well.
